    Each quarter VU engages with VC/PE funds in a VC/PE Recruiting process, where VC/PE Funds schedule times to interview top curated candidates based on the criteria of the role they are hiring for: job title, location, vertical focus, investment stage, etc. Investment groups can submit jobs at any time and interviews can be scheduled with 3-6 top candidates.

    VU's admissions team screens thousands of applications each year and selects the top 1-2% of candidates to be part of Venture University, where they are trained with the critical skills in deal sourcing, conducting due diligence, investment evaluation, presenting at partner meetings and investment committees, and helping their portfolio companies succeed. They also come away with an initial track record of making investments and have industry expertise.

    Each quarter VU selects ~50 cohort members globally which operate on 6 vertical focused teams: Consumer, Enterprise, Fintech, Frontier, Healthcare, and PropTech, where they build industry expertise in evaluating companies within a vertical. The cohort members backgrounds range in age (20's to 50's), diversity (with a high percent of women and underrepresented minorities), location, and industry expertise, which makes it easier to find a perfect match for the position you're hiring for.
